Rebates & Coupons

Ebates is rebate program is which you receive rebates from participating stores including popular stores such as Gap, Walmart and Ebay.  The rebates is usually in the range of 2~10% with some stores give even high payout.  In addition, Ebates offers coupon codes to varies stores where you will save with your purchase with these coupon codes.

RetailMeNot is an online coupon site that I always visit before I make any kind of purchase.   It is a user generated content site where users can submit coupon code for specific sites or products.  I also enjoy participating in the forum and interact with fellow RetailMeNot members.

Discount Gift Cards

Plastic Jungle is a gift card exchange site where you can buy, sell or swap gift cards.  The site is particularly useful if you shop a specific store often.  In this case, you can purchase the gift cards for your favorite at a discount price and translate it directly to savings.  Note:  currently it is US only.

Group Discount Purchases
Groupon offers daily local deals at 50% to 90% off as a result of purchasing in large quantities.  The savings are then passed down to customers.  There is a limit on the number of purchases for each deal so grab the item immediately if you see something you like!

Plum District is another site that offers daily local deals at 50% ~ 90% off as a result of purchasing in large quantities.  I like their deals as they tend to offer more items that are more useful to me personally such as gift cards and movie tickets.
