Six Flags Read to Succeed Program
Six Flags is sponsoring a free educational program called Read to Succeed where teachers and coordinators can promote student reading by earn a free admission ticket to a participating Six Flags theme park. After a student completes six hours of recreational reading logged by the teacher or coordinator, the school can request for a free ticket. The school must be within a 250-mile radius of a participating Six Flags theme park in order to participate. All submissions must be received by March 4, 2011. Read the page for additional details.
I really love this idea. It seems less and less people are reading on a regular basis as our attention is split by all the digital equipments around us. I am personally guilty of this myself and I am glad that all the technically does not exist when I was a student. I was able to stay focused on studying only because there weren’t that much distractions. I will add reading to my endless growing New Year resolution.

Walmart announced that they are offering a PS3 for $299 with a $100 gift card. Which means the price is $199!

Borders is offering a 50% off printable coupon for in store purchase from 12/14 ~ 12/16. The last time they offered was right before Thanksgiving and I was simply shocked by how many people were there. It is the longest checkout line I have ever seen in a bookstore even though everyone is only purchasing one item. The coupon is not restricted to books so you can purchase a toy or dvd for Christmas!

I watched the first season when the show first started because of Elisha Cuthbert but there is only so much explosion I can take. I stopped after first season and moved on to other shows such as House M.D. However, if you are captivated by constant tense explosion the 24 series is definitely one to check out.

Talking about amazing deals, I was really surprised to wake up this morning and see that Amazon is currently offering their 160 GB PlayStation 3 for$299 with additional $75 Amazon credit. I wish this deal was available when I purchased my PlayStation 3 a few months back. This is definitely the best deal on PlayStation 3 so far. If nothing else, you can use it as an entertainment system for your blue ray player and Netflix needs!
Received a copy of Norton from Viewpoints
