Happy Halloween~
Wish everyone have a Happy and safe Halloween! Be sure to brush your teeth after all the candy you eat!
When I was a kid I absolutely loved Halloween. It was one of those few occasions where I can get lots of candy without getting scold at (I didn’t realize the potential bad things with eating too much candy at the time). I would run around the neighborhood with my cousins ringing doorbell after doorbell even though I had no clue what the origin of Halloween is. Now I have grown up, I no longer care about the candies, but it always amazes me how much effort people put into dressing up for the occasion!
Amazon – Get Three Games for the Price of Two
During my younger days I used to play quite a bit of video games. Even though I still enjoy playing it just seem like I have less and less time each day as I grow older. However, games these days have become more and more pricey ($59.99 for a new game).
Amazon is currently offering a deal where you can purchase three games for the price of two for the following list of games:
- Club Penguin: Game Day! (Wii)
- Disney Sing It: Party Hits with Microphone (Wii)
- Fable III
- FIFA Soccer 11 (PS3 or Xbox 360)
- Medal of Honor (PS3 or Xbox 360)
- NBA 2K11 (PS3 or Xbox 360)
- NHL 11 (PS3 or Xbox 360)
- Shaun White Skateboarding (PS3 or Xbox 360)
- Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (PS3 or Xbox 360)
- Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II Collector’s Edition (PS3 or Xbox 360)
- The Sims 3 (PS3 or Xbox 360 or NDS)
- Tony Hawk: Shred Bundle (PS3 or Xbox 360 or Wii)
- WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 (PS3 or Xbox 360)
If you are planning on purchasing these titles for yourself or give away for Christmas gifts, it is definitely a deal worth checking it out!
Looking forward to World Series

I have been a baseball fan ever since I was a little kid. Although I am no where near retirement, visiting every single baseball stadium is on top of my to-do list once I retire. The other dream of mine is to go to a World Series game for the local home team once in my life time. Since I live in San Francisco bay area, this means either the Giants or the A’s will have to make it to the World Series. While the two teams have struggled in the past couple years, the farm system has produced amazing young talents. Before you know it, Giants is in the World Series!
Ordinarily World Series ticket prices are so exorbitant that there is no way I can afford to spend that kind of money for a game. However, one of my friend was lucky enough to purchase tickets to the World Series at face value instead of the high markup that is currently flowing in the secondary market. This means I get a chance to go to the World Series with the most passionate baseball fans out there (You have to be passionate to be spending that kind of money for a baseball game). For all the Giants fan out there, let’s go Giants, bring home the Championship!

Rulala offers $20 for new users

I just received this email from RueLaLa this morning. For those of you who are not familiar with the site, RueLaLa is an online community that offers great deals from their online boutique. The deals are short in nature with a limited quantity for different sizes.
I have ordered a number of items and returned a few that did not fit quite well. Some of the items are very reasonably priced in comparison to the brick and mortar stores. The only complain I have is the shipping cost of $9.95. While there are free shipping offers I usually only want to purchase a single item given the nature of the site.
Either way, leave me an email if you like to try it out. If they are giving $20 to new customers it will at least cover your shipping cost!
Free Subscription to Men’s Fitness via Reward Gold

Rewards Gold is currently offering a free subscription to Men’s Fitness. These offers usually go fairly fast so check it out if you are into fitness!
I recently subscribed to it using my mileage that is about to expire and overall I like the information presented in the magazine. Although I started following some of the routines mentioned in the magazine so I will know whether it is a good way to learn about fitness in a couple months. While the pictures are intimidating, it is a good way to keep yourself motivated on daily exercise and restrict yourself when you decide to drink that pint of beer!
Picaboo – Free Large Classic Book
Picaboo is having the free 20 page, hardcover photo book deal for new customers again! Picaboo’s books are of high quality and allow for much more customization. Use coupon code FALLBK at checkout to get the book for free ($40 value). You will have to pay shipping of about $8-9. The deal will last until October 25th.
New Theme at MyFrugalWays
Last week I mentioned that I will be getting a blog makeover from LadyJava and I just installed the new theme this morning. So far I really like the new theme. While I have some technical knowledge regarding how to design and change blogs I lack the artistic skill to put an aesthetic touch on my blog. If you are an existing reader, I hope you like the new theme!
Thanks LadyJava!
