The holiday season has not started well for me.

• I broke my glasses when I actually fall asleep.
• I made too sharp of a turn in an underground parking lot and scrapped the passenger side of my car.
• In the process of getting a new pair of glasses and getting my car fixed, I lost my cell phone.

The total cost will for me to get a replacement glasses, replacement phone, and get my car fixed will be in the ball park of $1000.  With all the different attempt to be frugal, if I simply pay more attention to my surrounding and don’t incur the uncessary cost I could have enjoyed more things I would like to have but find too expensive to purchase (e.g. x-box 360, ps3, iphone with plan).  As of now, I am suffering from frugal fatique and not in a joyous mood for the current holiday season.
