I just saw this chart from Mint and it essentially indicated the economy is in deflation rather than the inflation environment. Well, just my luck, the only place where the price has gone up during the past year is the place where I live. To put it in a positive spin, if you live in the San Francisco Bay Area and your boss wants to cut your salary, you can argue that cost living is still going up thus you should get a cost of living adjustment instead.
