Homemade Wolverine Claws
Real Working Homemade Wolverine Claws – X-Men – Click here for more amazing videos
X-Men is one of the comic/cartoon shows that I watched while growing up. Personally I really enjoyed the comics in addition to the movies. So with the new movie coming out, what should a frugal fan do to show support? Well, create his own real working Wolverine Claws! I have to hand to this guy, but it does look awfully dangerous to be walking around.
Kids, don’t try this at home. Instead, go watch some kids friendly movies at AMC for $1 on these Wednesdays:
June 25:Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium
July 2:The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep
July 9:Alvin & The Chipmunks
July 16:Shrek The Third
July 23:Bee Movie
July 30:Surf’s Up
August 6:TMNT
YouData Review
YouData is a program that I would classify under “boring money”. It is very small amount money for a small amount of time. The website that was launched in 2008 and it is similar to other pay to click websites where it pays its user for viewing ads and visiting different websites. After you sign up, you will fill out some basic profiles regarding yourself that called it MFiles. Base on the MFiles, they will pay you to see some of the advertisements their advertisers are currently running.
The program is open to US resident 13 or older with a unique cell phone number and email address. I have signed up for a month or so and I really like the fact that you are not required to give out real name, address, or SSN but they do need a valid cell phone number to send you a text message with a confirm code.
Here are some of the things I liked about their website:
- Clean look and feel.
- The payment is send to you through Paypal every Friday.
- The ads they have tends to be actual stores selling products instead of some get rich online Internet scheme or multiple level marketing scheme.
- The pay is decent per ad. So far I have been getting 15 ~ 20 cents per ad. This is much better than some of the other PTC sites where you earn 1 cent per click.
- It is not time consuming. I usually receive 4~5 ads and it only takes me a few minutes a week to go through the ads targeted for me.
The only bad thing about YouData is their referral program. It pays up to $1 for each of your referrals with 1 cent per ad the person you referred clicked on.
Free Resume copying and faxing from Office Depot 4/19 ~ 5/30
I received this link from a friend today regarding the offer by Office Depot and it will be beneficial for those who lost their jobs recently. Even though the news keep on emphasizing the recession is slow down, unemployment is still incredibly high and increasing by the day. As much as I understand employment is generally a lagging indicator, part of me could not quite understand the reasoning behind the recent optimism as more and more people I know have lost their jobs.
Here is the excerpt from Office Depot website:
Office Depot (NYSE: ODP), a leading global provider of office products and services, is helping customers take care of business by offering customers free copies of resumes and free faxing from April 19 to May 30, 2009.
Customers will be able to participate in this special offer by visiting the Design, Print, & Ship Depot center in any one of the more than 1,100 Office Depot retail store locations nationwide. Office Depot is providing free copies of resumes, up to 25 single-sided pages, as well as free faxing to five different domestic numbers, up to 25 pages in total.
Update: Apparently Staples is offering a similar offer as well.
